AEPS Corporation (American Eagle Protective Services) offers a range of security training and certifications.
Level II Certification Course:
This online course provides basic certification for unarmed security officers in Texas.
- It is essential for those looking to work legally in this capacity.
- The course covers fundamental principles of the security industry using Texas-required materials.
- After completion, you will receive the basic certification, which you must submit to DPS PSP for approval.
Level III Certification Part 1:
This online course focuses on theory-based information to help students pass the Private Security Board Level III written examination.
- After completing this AEPS Academy course, you will receive an incomplete Certificate of Completion (PSB-30) form, the DT/Firearms Instructor (Part 2) shall complete the form.
- You will submit the completed PSP 30 to DPS-PSP.PSP
Level III Certification Part 2
All defensive tactics requirements and firearms training must be in person (10 hours).

4 hours – Online Training
2 hours of firearms safety and firearms qualification.
