Please note that ARC certification training must be completed through the American Red Cross website rather than through the courses offered directly on the AEPS Corp website.

This course is designed to help first responders recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac and breathing emergencies.
- This course is theory only (no skills). This course is not for original certification.
- This course is an excellent refresher course or an in-service course (recommended every 2 years.)
- This course reinforces the knowledge needed for a first responder to give immediate CPR/AED care to an ill person and/or decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
- This course offers CPR and AED updates to meet the continuing education training for first responders.
The course curriculum is consistent with the 2015 International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Consensus on Science and Treatment Recommendations for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 American Heart Association and American Red Cross Guidelines for CPR and First Aid.
