This course offers first-aid updates to meet the continuing education training for first responders.
- This course reinforces the knowledge needed for first responders to give immediate care an injured or sick persons and/or decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
- This course is theory only (no skills). This course is not for original certification.
- This course is an excellent refresher course or an in-service course (recommended every 2 years.)
The course curriculum is consistent with the 2015 International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Consensus on Science and Treatment Recommendations for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 American Heart Association and American Red Cross Guidelines for CPR and First Aid.
